A Note from Isis
Hello and Welcome.
I am a licensed massage therapist (LMT) and have been practicing bodywork for 20 years in private practice and a hospital setting. I have practiced with both physicians and medicine men.
My intention is to deepen the connection we have with ourselves. To invite the body, mind, energy, to discover where is it halted and where it is spacious. To create a space where everything is present, and letting go is natural. As if we had forgotten that we'd meant to do so all along.
Our bodies are the maps of our lives.
I have had the rare opportunity to work closely within the western medicine model for many consecutive years. The value of the integration of these mindsets can not be overstated.
The power of nurturing touch goes beyond our physical bodies. We are not just tight muscles and achy bones, rather those muscles and bones can be a means of greater understanding and fulfillment.
Empowering the individual to know themselves is the greatest gift I have been witness to.
